What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Auditor position at LHH?

LHH is seeking an Internal Auditor in Greater Milwaukee area for our reputable hospitality client. This position is newly created due to company’s continuous growth. Our client values work life balance and career development for employees.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform internal control, business process improvement project and evaluations.
  • Ensure adequacy of compliance with company policies and US GAAP procedures.
  • Review and interprets organizational data, process documentation, testing execution, test review, etc.
  • Develop audit plans and reviews audit fieldwork testing conducted by audit team, recommend for audit findings.
  • Focus on strengthening internal controls, quality, and efficiency.
  • Present draft internal audit reports based on findings and recommendations.
  • Various tasks and projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
  • Experience with auditing.

    •  

    Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP accounting practices and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and multi-task.

    •  

    Employment Type: Full-time, salary.
