Responsibilities:
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services according to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Source and negotiate with new vendors to secure competitive pricing and quality products.
- Track and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and distribution of goods.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records.
- Work closely with other departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Assist in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year of experience in procurement or a related role.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
