Job Summary:
The Lease Administrative Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of lease administration. This includes maintaining lease records, ensuring compliance with lease terms, and providing support to the property management team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update lease records and databases.
- Review and interpret lease agreements to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with property managers and tenants to resolve lease-related issues.
- Prepare and distribute lease-related documents, such as amendments, renewals, and terminations.
- Track critical lease dates and ensure timely execution of lease obligations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to lease administration.
- Conduct regular audits of lease files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide support during lease negotiations and renewals.
- Respond to inquiries from tenants and property managers regarding lease terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address lease-related matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 plus years of experience in lease administration or property management.
- Strong understanding of lease agreements and real estate terminology.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with lease management software.
- Knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations.
- Certification in lease administration or property management.
