LHH is partnering with a client within the Transportation Industry who is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. The ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing the movement of freight from origin to destination by communicating with shippers and carriers daily.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with shippers and carriers.
- Organize and manage the transportation of goods.
- Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
- Develop and maintain a network of clients and carriers.
- Oversee the movement of goods from place to place.
- Arrange transportation solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective.
- Manage and resolve any shipping or transportation issues that may arise
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated.
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
- Location: Kansas City Metro - fully onsite
- Hours: Monday-Friday (8 am-5 pm)
- Job Type: Direct Hire
- Salary: $45,000 annually commission
