Maintenance Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a manufacturing company in Olathe, KS and assisting in their search for a Maintenance Manager. This Maintenance Manager will oversee a team whose goals are to increase runtime, create and maintain preventative maintenance processes, improve equipment reliability, and ensure a safe working environment. This Maintenance Manager will have adequate experience in a maintenance supervisory capacity along with a strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify maintenance needs through consistent monitoring of machinery and facilities
• Ensure upkeep of property through regularly scheduled maintenance
• Development of preventative maintenance processes, ensuring equipment reliability
• Maintain facility through research and implementing best practices
• Partner with other leaders on capital improvement projects
• Oversee a team of maintenance staff including performance management, training and development, and compliance with all policies and regulations
• Ensure a safe, working environment through safe procedures and practices
• Work with direct leader on annual maintenance budget and requests, ensuring budget goals are met
• Manage vendors and external service providers
• Oversee spare parts and material inventory
• Ensure machine uptime through managing KPIs and effective PM program
• Provide leadership with reporting on status of maintenance and repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5 years' total maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing
• Experience with CNC Mill machines highly preferred
• Experience with min/max inventory method
• Must possess strong leadership abilities
• Must be a working leader, able to work alongside the team
