What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Analyst position at LHH?
The Payroll Projects Analyst is responsible for identifying, coordinating, and executing steps related to successful implementations, process improvement, and special projects with the goal of aligning with current internal payroll systems, processes, and resources. This a temporary to hire opportunity and will be three days remote and two days onsite in Lincolnshire, IL.
Primary Responsibilities:Navigate within ADP Vantage and analyze data extracted from the platform
Manage the integration of standardized, centralized work into the payroll department.
Attend acquisition and transition calls and coordinate project tasks
Diagnose issues and payroll design needs; make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Work with team members to develop processes for new or unique needs of business.
Coordinate future internal Payroll integration efforts across functions including but not limited to centralization of Payroll activities, process standardization, and general project coordination.
Lead change management related to implementation of payroll technology, including training and communication efforts.
Support Payroll Management in the development, planning, and implementation of payroll systems, policies, and procedures.
Support continuous improvement and the integration of best practices, streamlining and standardizing the work of people, processes, and technology.
Serve as a back-up for processing payroll.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, human resources, or related field.
Payroll Certification desired.
4 years payroll experience.
4 years of project management, report writing, and system implementation experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Solid understanding of how to build efficient payroll processes.
Experience in Workday, ADP Vantage, Microsoft Access a plus.
Operate under general or minimum supervision.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Facilitation skills for communicating at all levels; including strong presentation skills.
Pay Range:
$40-$50/hour
