The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, from contract negotiations to post-construction activities. This includes managing contracts, tracking project progress, handling invoicing, and ensuring successful project completion. The role requires regular communication with Estimators, internal and external customers, and team members to keep all stakeholders informed throughout the project. The Project Manager may also provide mentorship to support personnel as directed by the Area or Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the project life cycle, from contract negotiation to final invoicing and post-construction activities.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Estimators, team members, direct reports, and internal/external customers.
- Ensure adherence to project management processes, utilizing applicable forms and attachments to maintain project documentation.
- Act as a mentor for project support staff under the guidance of the Area or Site Manager.
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects of varying sizes simultaneously.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Some educational credits (college or vocational school) in construction or engineering may be considered as part of the 5-year experience requirement.
- Proven experience in independently managing multiple construction projects.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a construction trade is preferred.
- Advanced project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, job costing, and invoicing.
- Expertise in creating and modifying cost-loaded progress schedules.
- Strong ability to interpret contracts and trade specifications/plans.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, methods, and local permit practices.
- Advanced estimating skills for change order generation across various trades.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe/Bluebeam, Viewpoint, and project management software such as MS Project or P6.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent and market the company in a professional manner.
