What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Support Assistant position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring multiple Resident Support Assistants for our nonprofit client located in the Inglewood area. This role will be 100% onsite, and there are both part and full-time shifts available. The role be a contract-to-hire opportunity and will be working at least one weekend day.
This position will be focused on the support of our client's interim housing facility, ensuring the safety of residents and staff, supporting in admin work, facilitating life groups, and assisting in other areas as needed. Interested candidates must feel comfortable working with individuals who are experiencing homelessness, mental health, and substance abuse ailments.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Proficiency working within Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to de-escalate situations in a calm demeanor
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well with others
- Compassion and empathy for others while still able to maintain professional boundaries
- Able to learn and work within multiple software systems as needed
