What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions has a hybrid Senior Staff Accountant opening with a nonprofit located in Louisville, KY. We are looking for a degreed professional with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing monthly financials, preparing and completing the month-end close process, and assisting with other general bookkeeping. This is an in-office position with a starting compensation between $68,000 and $75,000/year.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records
- Prepare journal entries
- Assisting with external audits
- Preparing annual taxes
- Consulting with clients as needed
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required
- Previous experience working for a nonprofit is a plus
- Working knowledge of Sage Intacct is required
- Over a year of experience as an Accountant
