Primary responsibilities of this Sr Accountant include:
- Manage full cycle accounting, including closing the books each month.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules, ensure the inventory management software is working efficiently and syncing correctly.
- Oversee all account reconciliations and maintain cashflow forecasts.
- Support and mentor team member who handles accounts receivable/payables.
- Provide reporting results to the CFO.
- Keep the department’s policies and procedures up to date.
- Ensure procedures and protocols are current and effective.
Minimum experience:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or e-commerce.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online.
- Highly accurate, organized, and detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain and implement company policies and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining accounting issues to management.
