- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Cost Control:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and develop strategies to mitigate cost increases.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable conditions.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels to support production needs.
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams to manage inventory flow.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess and obsolete stock.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier agreements.
- Prepare reports and analyses for management review.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement within the aerospace industry.
- Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and procurement activities.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
