Responsibilities:
- Source and procure materials, components, and equipment required for manufacturing.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Evaluate supplier performance and develop strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing with suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
