LHH has partnered with a mid-sized internationally based manufacturing organization in the Buford area in the search for their next Warehouse Logistics Manager (official title being Warehouse Logistics Lead).
This role will lead the company's North American warehouses' inventory, oversee the sourcing of materials from the company's European factory to the warehouse, as well as ensure a seamless shipment process from the factory to the warehouse based on customer demand. The ideal candidate for this managerial role brings 2-5 years of experience in warehouse inventory management, international logistics and shipment, and shipment invoicing; is data driven and analytical; and has not necessarily been a people manager prior but has at least managed projects, managing the workflow of other teammates and in constant cross-collaboration with project stakeholders.
This role will have two direct reports.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's North American warehouse inventory
- Lead sourcing activities from main manufacturing site to the warehouses
- Coordinate shipments and logistics for domestic and international customers
- Analyze and process Item Warehouse transfer requess, Inventory Adjustments and Cycle Counts
- Support for issues that arise in the warehouse during the logistics process, responding and resolving requests in a timely manner
- Manage periodic & Year-End Physical Inventory accompanies with research and data entry as needed
- Collaborate with the engineering team to locate, develop, and implement new outside manufacturing sources while adhering to company manufacturing methods and MRP practices
- Review and update Bills of Materials created by other internal departments for the production department to reflect custom changes which occur in the manufacturing and assembly processes
- Work regularly with accounting to approve invoices, payables, and receivables
- Negotiate contract for office purchases and PO's.
- Approve commercial parts and correct layouts from the spare parts department
- Work closely with the Customer Service Manager to ensure all shipments, parts, and purchases are handled
- Maintain and update part number status to suspended, obsolete, or superseded
- Understand department and company goals while developing measures to help prevent future issues.
- Clear drop shipments from European manufacturing facility to customer
- Add parts into software program and ensure data in ERP system is correctly updated.
- Understanding of international shipment, clearing, shipment codes, USA entry, HBL, etc…
- Experience using ERP systems
- 2-5 years of experience in warehouse inventory management, international logistics and shipment, and shipment invoicing
