Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming materials accurately in designated warehouse locations, adhering to packing slips or purchase orders.
- Prepare and package materials for outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with shipping requirements and maintaining accuracy.
- Conduct inventory counts, maintain precise records using computerized systems or manual logs, and replenish stock to meet production and customer demands.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely, maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, assist in inventory audits, and collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
- Demonstrated experience as a warehouse technician or in a related role within manufacturing, showcasing familiarity with inventory management systems and adeptness in computerized data entry and recordkeeping.
- Proficiency in safe and effective operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment; possession of a valid forklift certification is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, enabling efficient task prioritization in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication abilities, both independently and within a team setting, coupled with physical stamina for repeated lifting and moving of heavy materials, along with flexibility to accommodate varying shifts, overtime, and weekend work as needed.
- Highschool Diploma or GED
