Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Engineering Leader/ EDMS and Documentation who will in charge of manage, control and archive engineering drawings and technical documents. Ensure availability, accessibility, maintainability & reliability of EDMS of the affiliate and all engineering design software, provide assistance and support of getting engineering information to our client and affiliates within the boundaries of agreed SLA's, approved policies, procedures and engineering standards, while maintaining the highest level of quality & safety standards and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in IT and System Engineering with 10 years
• Diploma associated degree in IT with 15 years.
• High school degree with 25 years. - 10 years experience overall and 2 years experience in EDMS services for Bachelor in IT and System Engineering.
• 15 years experience overall and 5 years experience in EDMS services for Diploma in IT.
• 25 years experience overall and 5 years experience in EDMS services for High school. - Good knowledge of EDMS, engineering design applications and related solutions.
• Excellent Knowledge and experience in administration of SmartPlant Foundation, SmartPlant P&ID, SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant Electrical and SmartPlant 3D.
• Excellent Knowledge and experience in administration of Bentley ProjectWise, Microstation Select Server, AVIVA PDMS, Auto View, Solid Works.
• Familiar with all types and categories of engineering documents/drawings including international codes and standards.
• Knowledge of engineering policies, procedures & best practices. - Excellent supervisory skills.
• Good Arabic & English language skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Windows OS.
• Knowledge in SAP for assigned roles.
• Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, Coordination & Presentation Skills.

Duties and responsibilities
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall ensure that proper documentation, archiving, and maintenance of affiliates drawings and documents used for the design and construction of the plant are systematically filed and managing all records related.
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards. EDMS and Doc Manager shall ensure tracking and availability of information, drawings, and other documents as and when needed basis and managing all records related.
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall maintain security of Doc and information as per secrecy agreement. EDMS and Doc Manager shall ensures that all engineering drawings are scanned & migrated into the affiliates documentation system including data deliverables from mega projects and other projects/MOCs and managing all records related.
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall ensure availability, maintainability, & reliability of EDMS and all engineering design software in order to search, retrieve, view & navigate, print, control, manage and update affiliate engineering drawings/ documents without any interruption and loss of data and managing all records related.
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall Plan, organize resources, report status and coordinate for each request regarding EDMS and documentation and managing all records related.EDMS and Doc Manager shall propose budget for run and maintain EDMS and Documentation services for each our client Affiliate and managing all records related.
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall monitor and improve services KPI for EDMS and Documentation services. EDMS and Doc Manager shall propose improvement for EDMS and Documentation services though procedure changes control.
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall communicate with same level of management for resolving issues and managing all records related. EDMS and Doc Manager shall report status of all EDMS and Documentation services for subordinate, same level of management and upper management and end-user.
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall conduct progress meeting periodical with staff and end-users.
- EDMS and Doc Manager shall maintain safe archiving library as per SHEM. & EDMS and Doc Manager shall be able to interview function related to EDMS services.
- Strategic Contribution:
• Ensuring documentation and EDMS services in operation.
• Ensuring Requested drawings uploaded in EDMS.
• Ensuring EDMS system availability. - Strategic Planning & Alliances:
• Planning SV, Resources and utilization of Alliance. - Managing People and Resources:
• Plan, organizing resources, Reporting status and Coordinating for each request regarding EDMS and documentation.
• Conduct progress meeting periodical with staff and end-users. - Department Management:
• Proposing budget for run and maintain EDMS and Documentation services for each our client Affiliate.
• Report status of all EDMS and Documentation services.
• Communicate with same level of management for resolving issues. - Continuous Improvement:
• Monitoring and improve services KPI for EDMS and Documentation services.
• EDMS and Doc Manager shall provide initiatives for proactive action in day to day issues, develop KPI for improvement, and improve progress of KPIs. - Stakeholder / Network Management:
• Conduct progress meeting periodical with staff, end-users, same level of management and upper management.

2. Interviews stage
2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.
If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.
If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.
2.2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.
If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location. You will be told to go to the location.
The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.
If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer.

3. Conditional Offer
A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
Salary : $58,300 - $73,900
