Who are we looking for?
This job plays a key role in Management of IP to protect our company. It deals with IP Contracts termination, suspended or novated activities of SABIC/SABIC affiliates
globally. This job risk early identification and mitigation as well as proactively engages with the right stakeholders. It has an important role to understanding existing and new
projects tax related issues and complication. This role requires close alignment with many stakeholders, namely, BUs, Business T&I, Engineering & Project Management,
Corporate Manufacturing, Affiliates, Finance, Procurement, Tax, SGT, Planning & Control and Legal.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Finance/Accounting related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of petrochemicals
- Desired: Enough experience to understand the IP related Contracts
- Job Specific Skills: Possess high negotiation skills and demonstrates strong interpersonal, and communication skills
Duties and responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring IP and Confidential Technology exchange within the affiliates and with third parties globally
- Leads IP contracts exits and close-out for terminated, suspended, novated and completed Mega projects. Negotiate and execution of related agreements with
the global technology providers - Review the executed IP contracts to ensure that all rights are obtained and licensors have met their obligations as provided by the contracts.
- Identifying area of gaps and leveraging the lessons learned and innovative changes for inputs to any similar future negotiations, project execution, or creating
opportunities as appropriate. - Engages with our Tax, Finance functions globally for issues related to Tax and payments, align on agreements Tax articles, and reduce Tax impact
- Business insights from analyzing available data related to license contract to improve practices associated with existing processes
- Identify and mitigate risks of IP contracts related to new complex mega projects and our manufacturing sites globally and proactively engage with the right
stakeholders - Management of IP revenue streams of our affiliates co-ownership with third parties

2. Interviews stage
2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.
If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.
If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.
2.2 Client phone/video interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.
If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team from our client will schedule a call with you to evaluate your qualifications.
The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.
If your phone interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, and they will invite you to a video interview when hiring managers are available.

2.3 Video interviews with hiring managers: which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field.
3. Conditional Offer
A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.
Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
Salary : $97,700 - $124,000
