The BI Administrator will help empower LI-COR to make data-driven decisions, identify trends and provide critical business insights. You will work closely with individuals from all departments to collect and report data from systems in Lincoln and Germany. You will be the main point of contact for a single source of truth for LI-COR Sales, Operations, and Finance data.
Professional Qualifications
Experience
At least 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Systems Admin Roles.
Microsoft Power BI experience.
Experience leading and conducting BI implementation and maintenance activities.
Demonstrated proficiency for working in fast paced work environments.
Demonstrated experience working with infrastructure, network, DBA, and development teams within an IT organization.
Strong SQL skills preferred.
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services preferred.
Cognos BI experience preferred.

Ability to self-direct and accomplish objectives as part of larger project teams.
Self-starter, able to figure things out with limited direction.

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with both individual users and in group settings.
Position Responsibilities
Drives BI adoption and implementation.
Perform analysis to achieve a higher level of reporting and Business Intelligence usage.
Supports and administers BI applications and systems at LI-COR.
Generate reports, schedule reports and create dashboards
Coordinates and executes maintenance plans inclusive of system backups and restarts. Develops disaster recovery plans and checklists.
Provides day to day support for business questions related to BI applications.
Develops and applies security protocols for BI applications.
Evaluates, recommends, and implements improvements to BI reporting objects, and overall server/cloud environments.
Works closely with other functional areas and pulls together resources to accomplish team objectives.
Provides instruction, training, and guidance to the organization to ensure powerful and effective use of BI systems.
Stays up to date on industry trends. Analyzes and evaluates BI technologies to identify additional opportunities for value creation.
