Digital and Social Media Manager

About the Role: Do you love social media, brand-building, and cultivating relationships via the wealth of online media available to you, from reels to blogs?

We’re looking for a Digital & Social Media Manager who will bring a fresh perspective to organic and paid digital campaigns for a variety of clients. The ideal candidate knows that great ideas transcend industries, and is comfortable in the marketing world whether they’re writing about real estate or the Metaverse.

Knowledge of all mainstream social media platforms is a given, including how to post, promote posts, manage comments, and review performance metrics. In addition, the Digital & Social Media Manager will need to stay current on trends and best practices in social media, and enjoy coming up with new ideas to maximize audience engagement for our clients.

*Liaison headquarters and most of the team are based in Portland, Oregon, and we all work from home.*

What You Would Be Doing:

• Writing varied content, from social posts and paid social to blogs and emails

• Strategic planning for client social accounts, including creating monthly social calendars

• Day-to-day management of client accounts, from Instagram to YouTube

• Monitoring & engagement of social audiences

• Monthly analytics reporting

• Light graphic design and video editing in Canva/Photoshop/Adobe Premiere Pro

• Provide direct support to current team

• Occasional in-state travel required (Hillsboro, Portland metro, etc.)

What You Bring to the Table:

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism

• 2-5 years of Communications and/or Social Media experience (or a transferable background)

• Proficiency with online platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

• General knowledge of digital strategies and technology

• General understanding of web analytics and blogging platforms

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

• Proficient in Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite

• Sendible, Meltwater, WordPress, Canva, and Mailchimp experience a plus

• Experience with graphic design, Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro an extra plus
