SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
A key strategic initiative of the Bank is to build and maintain an IT architecture, Integration strategy and a mature data management program which will help Liberty Bank achieve its Strategic Plan. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this critical Information Technology position will be responsible for leading decisions on the Enterprise application architecture, engagement for all innovative technologies and driving the data management strategy for the bank. The candidate will have the opportunity to design high-quality solutions for new and existing technologies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Team leader for the Data, Enterprise Architecture & Integration team. Recruit and grow key talent to help develop and execute strategy.
Develop and execute a 3-year Data Management strategy which will compliment the banks overall strategic plan and the Technology Strategic plan. Included in the plan is: assessment of current data management capabilities, understanding the needs of the business, predictive Analytics Strategy, and centralized reporting.
Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that aligns with these strategies and ensures the bank stays current with emerging technologies related to these disciplines.
Execute strategic initiatives on implementing a data management solution in Azure as a foundation for analytical and AI capabilities.
Partner with the Information Security team to implement and maintain a comprehensive data governance and security strategy to protect the bank's data and systems.
Develop and communicate enterprise architecture principles, policies, guidelines, and standards.
Point person engagement for all new technology introductions to help develop solutions appropriate for the bank.
Advise teams during the solution design process to ensure the business objectives are met, architecture requirements are adhered to, effective transition plans are in place, and the solution can be supported.
Collaborate with senior leaders in the bank to determine the Bank’s approach on Artificial Intelligence along with appropriate use cases and roadmap.
Develop and implement an automation roadmap based on efficient processes that need automation to enable productivity using RPA.
Establish and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and partners to ensure the bank has access to the latest technology solutions.
Manage Run-the-bank budget along with yearly budgeting process for strategic planning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
7-10 years of work experience in enterprise architecture, data management, application architecture or systems management, preferably in the financial services industry.
5 years of management experience leading a team responsible for enterprise architecture & data services.
Knowledge of EA methodologies, standards, practices, governance, and reference patterns.
Strong knowledge of Enterprise level Digital capabilities for the banking industry.
Good understanding of Data privacy, data categorization and data governance.
Strong business acumen on strategy, processes, objectives, and typical challenges for the lines of business.
Strong understanding of software, data, infrastructure, architecture frameworks, network topology and technology trends.
Experience in developing strategic technology plans, roadmaps & estimates.
Ability to work collaboratively cross-functionality bank wide.
Excellent oral / written communication and presentation skills. Comfortable interacting with all levels of management.
Strategic thinking – particularly in terms of how to present different views of data.
Highly organized with ability to work independently.
Detail oriented with experience multi-tasking assigned responsibilities.
