REGIONAL BEREAVEMENT COORDINATOR

Full Time

Covering Cumberland County

Job Description :

• Administer a planned bereavement program in a regional area.
• Provide bereavement services to assist the patient, family and other individuals in coping with grief / bereavement in an organized program.
• Provide organization of planned bereavement programs in regional offices.
• Training of staff for providing bereavement / grief support to families and providing care to bereaved through program plan.
• Provide statistical reporting and appropriate documentation in bereavement care.
• Accountable in coordinating outreach and support for bereavement care and support in community and contracted facilities.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum requirement is a bachelors' degree in human services field such as social work, psychology, counseling or related field with experience and education in death and dying and the grief process.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience in group facilitation and support intervention.
• Demonstration of proficiency in writing and oral communication.
• Knowledge and skill with computer software programs to include Word, Excel and documentation system.
• Must accept travel and working conditions as assigned.
