As a Customer Support Specialist, your everyday work will help ensure people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities receive vital services so they may live their best lives.
You will work in a collegial and professional office with a team of caring and compassionate health and human service professionals. This role will enable you to gain valuable health and human services knowledge and experience.
You will enjoy a dynamic job description which will include these responsibilities:
- Engaging in productive phone conversations with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as their families and other stakeholders
- Answering customer questions and addressing concerns
- Conveying information about available health and human services, the process for applying for these services, as well as the wait period between applying for and receiving services
- Memorializing important details from phone conversations
- Communicating with an array of internal and external stakeholders
- Actively participating in training activities
You have the option to work a compressed workweek with four 10-hour days or a traditional five day workweek with 8-hour days.
As a Customer Support Specialist and valued employee of Liberty Healthcare you can expect:
- $37,000 to $45,000 annually (depending on experience)
- $500 new hire sign on bonus ($250 paid at 90 days and $250 paid at 180 days)
