Liberty Healthcare Corporation seeks an experienced leader in the field of sex offender treatment to serve as Executive Director of the California Conditional Release Program.

This program exclusively serves adult sex offenders living in communities throughout California – more specifically, those individuals designated as sexually violent predators (SVPs). 

This program is a collaborative initiative between the Liberty Healthcare Corporation and the California Department of State Hospitals. 

While focusing on community safety, the program concurrently seeks to provide clients with the opportunity for healthy and productive lives in the community.  Program objectives include:

  • Preventing client recidivism and maintaining community safety
  • Successfully transitioning clients from long term residential treatment into the community
  • Securing appropriate community-based housing for clients
  • Facilitating transportation and other supports for clients
  • Monitoring and case management of clients and proactively detecting and responding to client risk factors
  • Ensuring clients receive behavioral health services consistent with best practices in the field of sex offender treatment

As Liberty Healthcare’s Executive Director, you will fulfill a vital leadership role and be responsible for the following:

  • Functioning as the program’s “CEO”
  • Leading a statewide team of professionals within a high-performance culture
  • Anticipating program growth and proactively establishing services to meet new client needs
  • Proactively anticipating and preventing problems that could result in compromised community safety, client risk or customer dissatisfaction
  • Liaising with a wide array of stakeholders – including CA Department of State Hospitals representatives, law enforcement and public safety agencies, community groups, victim advocates, media, and Liberty Healthcare corporate representatives.

This is a virtual position which will allow you to work from your home office. Residency in California is a requirement. Some statewide travel will be required.
