Job Description:
Liberty Mountain is looking for a part Sysadmin/mostly Help Desk Technician who can help employees with issues on their individual systems, as well as troubleshoot companywide issues. Experience with Microsoft Windows OS is required, Mac experience is a plus, and knowledge in any capacity dealing with Microsoft Server 2012 – 2019 will be an advantage. A basic understanding is expected but we will train you on systems in our environment as well as encourage other types of learning that will help Liberty Mountain succeed as a company. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose printing, email, MS Office suite, software, and hardware problems and quickly resolve day to day tech issues as expected in a corporate IT environment.
- Prioritize troubleshooting tickets within Help Desk Software in order of importance
- Making sure devices, endpoints, and servers stay up to date with the latest patches and security updates.
- Communicate work accomplished to the team and escalate any issues that cannot be quickly resolved individually.
- Basic knowledge of how to troubleshoot network issues and other types of tech emergencies that come up to help avoid downtime when possible.
- Must be good at and willing to provide documentation for work done while being proactive in creating SOP’s when necessary
Qualifications:
- A good understanding of Active Directory: creating users, resetting passwords, and assigning licenses in O365.
- Basic ability to manage DNS/DCHP in a corporate environment is a plus.
- Willing to work on-site since we do have an office as well as large warehouses that require in-person IT coverage available during business hours.
- Must be technically proficient and willing to work with the team, as well as other teams in a collaborative environment.
- At least one to two years of help desk and/or sysadmin experience, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
