Liberty Sales and Distribution is a distributor and manufacturer's representative working in the natural gas market and sell products with a focus on field applied pipeline coatings, cathodic protection systems and pipeline integrity repair solutions. Liberty Sales is currently seeking an experienced and growth-oriented Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing the Mid-Atlantic region. The successful candidate will have sales experience in the natural gas distribution and transmission markets and be responsible for maintaining and growing the customer base, identifying new sales opportunities, and growing sales within the region. We are seeking a technical sales professional who enjoys the challenge of the sale, is an effective trainer and has a proven track record to demonstrate their success. The position includes overnight travel within the territory which includes New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Washington DC geographical areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Aggressive growth of revenue targets based on territory goals.
* Build and execute a sales plan for the territory.
* Prospect new business opportunities and sales.
* Provide technical product demonstrations and training for customers.
* Serve as a liaison between our customers and principal manufacturers.
* Generate inquiries for product and track opportunities through closure.
* Participate in industry trade shows and conferences.
* Provide regular reports and updates on various accounts and opportunities
Preferred Requirements:
* Three or more years of outside / technical sales experience.
* Dynamic, self-motivated, creative thinker who can achieve growth goals.
* Bachelor’s degree and/or mechanical aptitude.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong aptitude for customer relations.
* Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft 365 & Dynamics.
* Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
