Purpose

Accountable for leading local and/or regional fleet activities. This includes rolling out fleet processes, supporting the execution of the company wide fleet strategy. Responsible for managing contracts with vendors and support the operations. Support Regional Supply Chain Management as directed.

Accountabilities

  • Regional management and maintenance of vehicles and equipment; Schedules and dispatches the organization's vehicles and drivers; Supports the design specifications for vehicle requisitions as well as making sure that corporate standards are followed; Reports, records and maintains all safety procedures relating to vehicles.
  • Preparation of Fleet Data to be provided for Analysis
  • Perform transactions to update the system with the receipt of goods and services ordered to facilitate payment to the appropriate suppliers.
  • Ensures Company vehicles are in excellent working order, including refueling, washing, transporting, cleaning, mechanical, etc.
  • Periodically inspects Company vehicles for any problems.
  • Maintains accurate records on all vehicles.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 years experience if fleet operations or similar role
  • ASE certification highly desirable
