What are the responsibilities and job description for the Archives Technician position at Library Systems & Services?
LAC Federal is seeking Archives Technicians to support a major Federal Cultural Institution in downtown Washington, D.C. The Technicians will work under the direction of an Archivist to inventory, organize, rehouse, and describe historical manuscript and audiovisual collections. The Technician will assist the Archivist by performing data entry to create archival finding aids and will create inventory lists. The Technician will rehouse materials into archival quality materials and create labels for boxes, folders, and other housings. This is a full time, benefited position.
