POSITION SUMMARY: 

On a daily, weekly and monthly basis, the Material Supply/Supply Chain Analyst position at LiDestri will proactively analyze demand data that is derived from short-term and long-term forecasted production schedules.   In turn, the Material Supply Analyst, will routinely communicate and publish LiDestri’s demand data to our supplier base  to ensure continuity of material flow to our food, spirits and/or beverage locations.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:  

  • On a daily and weekly basis, analyzes forecasted demands for raw materials and packaging and translate the demands in question to LiDestri’s external suppliers
  • Based on analyzed forecasted demands for supporting raw materials and packaging, advise key stakeholders in the process where potential issues and/or shortfalls may arise in the supply chain
  • Work in conjunction with LiDestri’s suppliers to ensure a steady and constant supply of material and packaging are readily available to support current and future production
  • Work closely with LiDestri’s Purchasing, Production Scheduling and Material Planning Teams to ensure all parties are aligned as it pertains to raw material and packaging availability
  • Based on analysis of demand data, make recommendations, where needed, pertaining to raw material and packaging safety stocks.
  • When required, create purchase orders within Oracle to ensure future production at LiDestri is supported accordingly with the proper quantities of raw materials and packaging
  • Upon creation, to ensure success within the LiDestri Supply Chain, monitor all purchase orders and associated due dates until time of receipt at LiDestri.
  • On a daily basis, work closely with the Scheduling & Planning Supervisor to align material continuity to ensure attainment of production schedules
  • When required, within Oracle, delete safety stock values for items that have been moved to obsolete status to ensure future demands are removed.
  • When required, work in conjunction with Supply Chain Analyst, Production Scheduler, Operations and Scheduling & Planning Supervisor to ensure any and all material concerns are addressed accordingly
  • To ensure success within the department, additional assigned tasks will be required at times as well
  • Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

            

REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree and/or 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain related role.=
  • Must have the ability to interpret forecast data and translate the data in question to LiDestri’s suppliers
  • Must have strong communication skills to ensure alignment between external suppliers and internal teams
  • Must have strong experience with Oracle system
  • Within Oracle, knowledge and experience pertaining to the creation and removal of safety stocks is a must
  • Within Oracle, knowledge and experience pertaining to purchase order creation is a must
  • Must have the ability to resolve material and packaging due date issues with external suppliers, LiDestri Purchasing and LiDestri Scheduling & Planning
  • Microsoft Excel experience required

 

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands;
  • Occasionally need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, with a potential of up to 25 pounds;
  • Sedentary office environment;
  • Occasional exposure to manufacturing plant floor requiring the use of personal protective equipment (ear plugs, safety glasses, bump cap, skid-resistant leather shoes, etc.);
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practice (hair net, no jewelry, no fake nails or eyelashes, no food/drink, gum, etc. in manufacturing Plant).
