Life Connections Counseling Services is seeking a part-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or an individual eligible to become an RBT to provide home-based therapy services for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental disorders.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Job Description:
The Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®) is a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis. RBTs assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of an RBT Supervisor and/or an RBT Requirements Coordinator, who are responsible for all work RBTs perform.
The RBT will work with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related diagnoses and provide behavioral-based therapy in a 1-on-1 setting. The RBT will work with clients in the home setting and will follow the client’s individualized program created the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Job Summary:
As an RBT, you will be providing services to children with a range of cognitive, behavioral, developmental, and genetic disorder diagnoses. You will work directly with BCBA’s to deliver and implement focused and comprehensive-based behavioral intervention and skill acquisition therapy. In addition, you will also collect data, manage problem behaviors, and receive extensive training in all areas of direct service delivery. You will primarily serve an instructional role--teaching in the areas of social, adaptive, functional communication, emotional and behavioral regulation, and independent self-care skills.

Qualifications:
- A high school diploma and must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Credential or willingness to enroll and complete courses within the first 2 months of hire (required)
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.

- Have at least 1-2 years experience working in ABA, child-care, or a school-setting

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:
- Assisting in restructuring environments and activities to support the client's behaviors.
- Teaching skills that allow the individual to communicate and/or function more effectively.
- Review behavior intervention plans and other relevant (e.g., instructional) materials developed by the BCBA for clients in order to facilitate consistent implementation and monitor therapy outcomes appropriately.
- The implementation of behavioral procedures for acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors.
- Communicate openly with the BCBA.
- Complete daily progress notes and collect data related to implementation of the behavior intervention plan.
- Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Attend team meetings.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking and decision making skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
