YOUR OBJECTIVE
Working hand-in-hand with our Quickturn/SMU Buyer, you'll make sure our assortment strategy comes to life flawlessly. Your secret sauce? Mixing the art of creating a lineup that our customers will love with the science of tracking the numbers that keep our business booming.
YOUR JOB
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, communicate, and implement assortment plans to meet target revenue and gross margin objectives for the catalog and Partnership/Collaboration businesses, overseeing workflow tickets in Jira and proactively addressing any timeline obstacles
- Partner with the Quick Turn buying team to ensure cohesive product storytelling on LIG.com
- Analyze customer feedback, reviews, and sales data to inform product selection and assortment decisions, ensuring alignment with customer preferences and behaviors to enhance the overall shopping experience
- Collaborate with Site Merchandising to optimize best sellers and to select products for key stories and category interests, while guaranteeing that they are properly vetted for on time warehouse delivery, with sufficient inventory
- Partner with the Director of eCommerce Merchandising on seasonal Open-to-Buy strategies for effective inventory management
- Create well formatted recaps and summaries for required business analysis as needed, including weekly Monday reports
- Identify opportunities for expanding best-selling graphics through a seasonal briefing process
- Own and lead photography briefings and collaborate with the Marketing team to promote key feature products through email exposure, print advertising and other channels
- Lead the visual merchandising strategy for direct mail print pieces
- Provide merchandising guidance to the Marketing team to support key seasonal brand campaigns
- Partner with Marketing Operations to ensure timely sample process execution
- Manage the Markdown process
- Develop and document new processes as needed by the business
