Brief Job Description:
Under supervision of the Specialized Services Coordinator, the PASRR Specialized Services Associate is responsible for providing individualized support and training to identified clients for who Specialized Services have been recommended
Essential Functions:
Assure that individual's rights are protected and that they are free from abuse or maltreatment.
To encourage each individual to offer his or her unique gifts and talents to the community.
To promote meaningful community involvement and social growth.
To encourage each person to grow and develop according to his or her own capacities.
To promote community integration.
To provide sensory motor stimulation.
To provide behavioral support.
To assist with forgoing new friendships, visiting community programs, encouraging and assisting in the normalization of daily activities.
Monitor progress toward outcomes.
Attend quarterly care plan meetings and annual PCSP update meetings.
Collaborate with individuals, their family or guardian, and other team members.
Maintain all appropriate documentation in a professional and timely manner.
Report and document all incidents according to LifeSkills P&P and DDID regulations.
Attend all required training and update training classes.
Additional Functions:
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of one-year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.***All 30 hour positions will be enrolled in our company retirement program through the Kentucky Public Pension Authority (KPPA); six percent (6%) of your gross income will be deducted from each check.
All LifeSkills Inc. / Pennyroyal Inc. employees who work 30 hours or more a week are required to participate in this program.The employee contribution rate is set by the State General Assembly. Employee contributions are deposited into member accounts. These contributions to the retirement system are currently tax deferred. Member accounts are kept confidential between the member and the Kentucky Retirement Systems.
