What are the responsibilities and job description for the CPR Instructor position at Life Time?
Position Summary
The CPR Instructor is responsible for quality assurance and effectively facilitating American Red Cross Courses. The CPR Instructor is responsible for attending instructor updates and facilitating at least 10 skills sessions annually.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as a resource on American Red Cross (ARC) provider course curriculum and protocols of Life Time University (LTU), instructors and participants
- Conducts ARC Skills Tests while adhering to LTU and ARC guidelines
- Instructor continues their development by completing updates and training with LTU and ARC
- Continues personal development by completing updates and training with LTU and ARC
- Enters passing students in The Learning Well immediately after course completion
- Completes and submits proper documentation to LTU within 24 hours
- Completes and submits class roster on ARC within 24 hours after skills test
Position Requirements
- First Aid, CPR, and AED adult, infant and child certifications
- Upon hire, pre-learning on ARC prior to teaching
- Upon hire, attend web-ex training prior to Day 1 of ARC Instructor Course
- Other approvals prior to teaching as applicable
