***EKG Experience Required***
Position Summary: Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides continuous monitor observation and rhythm strip documentation. Documents and interprets rhythm strips for all patients. Communicates appropriate nurses of changes in cardiac rhythms. As a member of the nursing unit, conducts self to promote an organized and positive environment.
Essential Functions: Provides continuous cardiac monitor observation Documents and interprets rhythm strips for each patient per unit requirement positions and handles patients with a high degree of safety and professionalism. Recognizes and reports any adverse reactions, events or possible safety concerns.
Qualifications/Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate Education/Knowledge: Experience: Less than one year.
