Job Summary:
This position is directly responsible for supporting the Human Resource Director. You will be required to perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource department.
Essential Job Duties:
Take calls that are transferred from staff to obtain needed information from candidate and applicants for onboarding.
Organize mail that comes into our department and distribute or file.
Record and file all incoming documents from staff, manage the tracking form.
Follow-up on request for candidate to make sure all documents are obtained in a timely manner.
Order required medical vaccinations and immunizations on new employees
Assist in auditing employee files, including filing retention file for terminated and inactive employees
Assist in ordering annual vaccinations for employees and updating the tracking sheet
Sending monthly birthday card, virtually or manually
Ordering background check on new employees
Perform other related HR duties as assigned.
Preparation and assist in organizing the Situational Leadership Training
Be skilled in technology and setting up zoom meetings and interviews.
Tracking FML/ ADA time when an employee has been approved.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Excellent organizational skill and attention to details.
Ability to operate general office equipment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft and Excel.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required
One year of human resource/business office administrative office experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
