General Description
The crisis intervention specialist is responsible for:

The crisis intervention specialist is responsible for:
- Working in coordination with and providing support to the Lead Crisis Intervention Specialist to insure the following:
- Providing information about IDD programs and services to individuals with IDD and their families; and to IDD providers in the local service
- Collaborating with appropriate LIDDA staff and Transition Support Team members to identify individuals with IDD in the LIDDA’s local

- Minimum Qualifications:

- Preferred Qualifications:
Masters level or Clinical Social Worker, a psychiatrist.
- Experience in training and public presentations.
- Must be knowledgeable about IDD programs and services in the local service area.
- Be organized, detail oriented, computer proficient, and able to write clearly and professionally.
- Have well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to manage staff and provider relationships effectively.
- Be able to provide training to staff, families, and the community
Salary : $42,000 - $45,000
