What are the responsibilities and job description for the OnBase System Administrator position at Lifescale Analytics?
At Lifescale Analytics, we help achieve data driven decisions by leveraging strategic technologies to create innovative solutions, that ultimately help our clients to navigate their ever-changing data landscape. We have an opportunity for an OnBase System Administrator. Candidates will be required to be onsite for meetings and presentations on select days throughout the month. Note: travel expenses and relocation expenses are not covered by the employer/client.
Applicants responding to this position must be a US Citizen and will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information. Must have lived in the US for the past 5 years.

Primary Job Duties/ Tasks / Experience:
The activities these candidates will be tasked with include, but are not limited to the following:
- Comprehensive understanding of OnBase architecture, modules, and functionalities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand the functional and non-functional requirements of the application.
- Translate business requirements into architectural designs that align with business goals.
- Document Management: Designing and implementing document management solutions, including workflow automation and records management.
- Customization and Development: Customizing OnBase solutions using scripting and APIs to extend functionality and integrate with other systems.
- User Training and Support: Providing training sessions and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the system.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Identifying and resolving technical issues, performing system diagnostics, and ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining detailed technical and user documentation for OnBase configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Compliance and Security: Ensuring that the OnBase system complies with industry regulations and internal security policies.
Job Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
The submitted candidate must be able to apply common knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:
Minimum Required KSAs:
- 3 years of experience in OnBase functionalities, including document management, workflow automation, and records management.
- 3 years of experience in integrating OnBase with other enterprise systems using APIs and middleware.
- 3 years of experience maintaining OnBase software, including scripting and customization, including Unity Forms, WorkView, and Custom Queries.
- 3 years of experience in creating and configuring folders within the OnBase system. Proficient in organizing and categorizing documents for easy retrieval, managing folder-level security and access permissions, integrating folders with workflow processes to automate document handling, and maintaining folder structures, including archiving, deleting, and reorganizing folders as needed.
- 3 years of experience in languages and scripting used in OnBase customization (e.g., C#, JavaScript, SQL).
- 2 years of Experience in configuring OnBase settings, including user roles, permissions, and system parameters.
- 2 years of Experience in optimizing the performance of OnBase systems and ensuring efficient operation.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to provide excellent customer support; meticulous quality of work and work product.

Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. (Required)
