Assists in the administrative duties of the Talent team and other teams as needed. Learns the hiring process and personnel record requirements to help with hiring and auditing goals. Specific responsibilities include: completing reference checks on candidates; completing employment verifications; managing and triaging the workforce phone line, voicemail, and email; creating, scanning, and maintaining personnel files; and tracking expiring documents and running monthly OIG checks, annual background checks, and checking expiring professional licenses. Other duties include assisting with data entry of new hire information in to EMRs, HRIS, etc., assisting with screening Caregiver applicants, and any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency required; Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or related field a plus.
- Prior experience in administrative and/or human resources preferred
- Must have an interest in human resources and customer service
- Must be proficient with technology and technological applications: Windows Laptop, Microsoft Office, Smart Phone, Calendaring, Wi-Fi, HRIS, Internet Browsing, Printing
- Intense attention to detail required
- Must always maintain confidentiality on employment issues and sensitive information
- Must possess:
- strong typing and data entry skills
- ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing
- ability to maintain composure and stay positive in stressful situations
- ability to be organized and prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
- Must adapt well to changing priorities, instant deadlines, and frequent interruptions.
