Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Community Homes Nurse in the Castle Shannon area.

Position Summary:
The Nurse will be a liaison and advocate for the individuals in Lifesteps Community Homes. They will support and educate staff and communicate changes to supervisors, directors and medical professionals. The Nurse will verify medical recommendations are being implemented and staff is being trained in the care of the individuals’ needs.
This full-time position works a schedule of Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm with weekends off!
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with an active PA license.
• One (1) year experience working in a nursing field.
• Demonstrated ability to complete basic computer tasks.
• First Aid/CPR certification or the ability to complete course within 6 months of hire.
• Current driver’s license and the ability to travel for business utilizing personal vehicle.
Preferred:
• Experience with Intellectual Developmental Disability and/or special education.
• Experience in community nursing, home care and/or school nursing.
