Job Summary:

Lifetime Builders is the fastest growing construction company in the Tri-Lakes area and we are looking to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, tracking, and overseeing the construction of various projects throughout Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. The Project Manager will assist in pre-construction activities; generate scopes of work, bid packages, and commitments for subcontractors; generate and manage the construction schedule; control the budget and cost reporting; supervise support personnel, and promote the relationships with the clients and government agencies.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • · Determine and define the scope of work and deliverables
  • · Predict resources needed to complete project
  • · Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
  • · Draft and submit a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
  • · Manage costs in order to meet budget
  • · Manage construction schedule and activities
  • · Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
  • · Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
  • · Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • · Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
  • · Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
  • · Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
  • · Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
  • · Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
  • · Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
  • · Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
  • · Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues

Qualifications:

  • · More than 5 years of construction management experience.
  • · More than 5 years of hands-on experience in one or more construction trades.
  • · In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
  • · Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
  • · Familiarity with construction/ project management software
  • · Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • · Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • · A team player with leadership abilities
  • · Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture preferred
  • · Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
  • · Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
  • · Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
  • · Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
  • · High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • · Strong leadership and management skills
  • · OSHA-30 card is a plus
  • · Valid driver’s license

Most of our work is done in Stone, Christian, Green, and Taney county and Boone county in Arkansas. Some travel to surrounding counties is required. We have a lot of fun doing what we do and enjoying our trade. Transportation is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
