Position Description:
Wingspan Care Group is looking to add a Fleet Porter to our growing team! As the Fleet Porter, you will perform general labor tasks, including transferring fleet vehicles, ensuring that all vehicle service work is scheduled and completed as well as building and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors. You will also be responsible for fueling, washing and cleaning all vehicles as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Parking vehicles and manage parking issues. Keep track of vehicle locations.
- Performing light maintenance and other tasks as instructed by supervisor.
- Routinely checking vehicle fluids and tire pressure levels and filling them as needed.
- Keeping Agency parking lots free of trash.
- Serving as parking attendant for special guests and/or events and blocking parking stalls as needed.
- Seasonally, removing snow and ice from vehicles when necessary.
- Loading, testing, changing, and jump-starting vehicle batteries when needed.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets the underwriting criteria of the Agency's insurance company.
- Dependable, responsible, and professional attitude is required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Detail-oriented and willing to do a wide range of tasks.
- Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes, and abilities.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: No more than 19 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Cleveland, OH: Relocate before starting work (Required)
