Summary
As the Data Governance lead, you will play a critical role in helping us implement our next generation ERP system. Beyond the implementation, you will help us develop an industry leading data governance program and master data management strategy.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with central ETL and data team resources to ensure capture of operational data and KPIs needed for dashboards and ad-hoc reporting Coordinate Large Adjustments - application integration, data integration, and data loading
- ERP Implementation: work across business areas to define future-state architecture for master data management
- Work with each business area to negotiate and agree on resourcing requirements
- Monitor and ensure that DG capabilities are aligned with business and technology visions
- Project Management
- Establish Formalized Process - data preparation, data stewardship, and data quality
- Assist in the implementation of the Data Management Program Operating Model that includes roles & responsibilities, coordination with business leads, and related process & tools for success measurement
- Co-lead the data council and serve as primary point of contact for inquiries and issue resolution
- Define Attributes / Rules
- Establish data standards, definitions, processes, and rules across multiple domains (e.g., product, customer, vendor, location) to ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of the data assets
- Track DG compliance to enterprise data management policies and standards
- Data cataloging, data lineage, and metadata management
- Develop the enterprise information model, business data glossary, business metadata content
- Document key elements of the Master Data Information Architecture (data flows, data models, etc.)
- Document authoritative data sources for the essential attributes of each data domain
- Training
- Assist Business Intelligence Manager in program change management, training, adoption, issue resolution
- Interface with Data Stewards
- Work across lines of business to define responsibilities for data stewards
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (Computer or Information Science, Statistics, Engineering)
- Background in business intelligence, data warehousing, ERPs, business analytics, systems thinking
- ERP Implementation Experience preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience
- Ability to influence / change management
- Ability to lead team work and organize group working sessions
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Can effectively self-manage
