LightEdge, a leading enterprise-grade cloud services and colocation company is actively seeking a highly skilled Technical Disaster Recovery Specialist who is experienced in advising on Disaster Recovery methodologies. This position directly engages with customers, actively collaborating on designing, developing, and implementing disaster recovery runbooks and technologies. It plays a crucial role in assisting customers to ensure business continuity and preparedness during unexpected disruptions.

• Collaborate with LightEdge Solutions clients to determine project requirements, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Create comprehensive plans, procedures, and runbooks to be implemented in the event of a disaster.
• Effectively communicate project status to Project Managers and clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
• Create technical designs based on sales solution proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Continuously innovate and improve service delivery, seeking opportunities for enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a minimum of 40 hours per week, dedicating time and effort to meet project demands.
• Perform other assigned duties as required to contribute to the team's success.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an Information Technology-related field, relevant certifications, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
• Possess a strong understanding and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a combination of the following areas of expertise (similar platforms and tools will also be considered):
• Backup and Data Replication: Zerto, Veeam, Acronis
• OS and Virtualization: Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V
• Storage: SAN, NAS, tape libraries
• Networking: Cisco Routers, Switches, etc.
• Security: Cisco or FortiGate hardware & software firewalls, load balancers, etc.
• Database: SQL Server a plus
• Experience with real-world incident response and service management operations using ServiceNow.
• Capable of managing multiple assignments and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external resources to achieve project objectives.
• Identify, resolve, and provide guidance on incidents related to managed services, including handling escalated service requests and incidents from peers, ensuring timely resolutions, and offering expertise and support to clients.
• Experience in collaborating with vendors, opening trouble tickets, and effectively identifying and documenting the root cause of issues.
• Previous experience working in a data center or managed service provider is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision, adjusting priorities as necessary.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and perform well under stressful situations.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to changes in technology.
