VP, Marketing

Lightspeed Systems is on a mission to help K12 communities make learning safe, secure, and equitable – and we are seeking a VP of Marketing with the experience and drive to help us do it! This is a key leadership position that will involve a combination of data analysis, creativity, strategic planning, and tight execution as well as collaboration across the organization.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Optimize our marketing strategy – Foster an analytical approach to creating and managing a marketing plan that helps us reach our sales and success targets
• Build a top-notch team – We are only as good as our talent! Continually recruit and nurture team members
• Drive effective marketing-sourced pipeline – Closely and quantitatively manage our marketing programs and pipeline to deliver the highest quality impact; and continuously improve our ROI
• Drive awareness and elevate our brand – Create an approach to inbound thought leadership, social, web, and PR to increase visibility and elevate brand perception

You will be responsible for inbound and outbound marketing functions. You will collaborate with strong Product Marketing, Product Management, and Sales leaders.

ABOUT YOU

What you need to have:

• You are a data-driven marketer and have the data analytics chops to prove it
• You are creative, and love trying new tactics
• You have a successful record of executing marketing campaigns that drive business growth
• You are creative in coming up with new campaign ideas and marketing approaches
• You are proactive, self-starter and highly organized.  You can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and can collaborate effectively across departments
• Bachelors degree or equivalent is required and an MBA is preferred
• A minimum of ten years marketing experience
• Strong ability to design and execute marketing plans and strategies
• Ability to solve problems effectively, think strategically and delver results
• Analytic skills to interpret campaign results and pipeline data to optimize marketing spend

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with Salesforce and Pardot
• Edtech marketing leadership experience
• ABM experience
• Experience in a high growth SAAS environment
