Job Description
 
Mobile Application Technical Product Owner (Architect) with ADA compliance experience who will be working to lead a team of 10 offshore resources to implement ADA compliance on existing Android App.

Role Description:
This role will be onsite (US - Bay Area) at client that will collaborate with offshore team and manage scope, schedule, work project from team while owning technical stories, ADA compliance validation of App, and collaborate with the client to get deliverables accepted. Individual will need to be well versed in to Agile Scrum and Rally as tools for backlog management.

Backlog Grooming:
Create technical stories and groom them with team in backlogs and work with stakeholders to manage dependency while planning scrum activities based on commitments.
Plan development of stories for ADA compliance to represent android mobile app user’s needs
Identify functional risks and issues to track them through resolution (Services, APIs, System of Record, Field additions, ADA visuals and Voice Overs related texts)

Project Delivery - Day to Day delivery tasks:
Collaborate with offshore team to get stories groomed, planned (within sprint), developed, tested and resolve any dependencies.
Ensure project deliverable's are aligned with proposed Solution Architecture
Perform ADA validation for completed stories
Collaborate with Client stakeholders to get completed stories accepted by having client side of ADA validation/testing done for mobile app. This typically involves performing demo of ADA compliance remediated features to client stakeholders.

Technical Solution:
Drive technical solution for ADA compliance on Android Mobile App features by facilitating discussions, documenting and communicating issues/resolutions
Author updates to existing System Architecture Document, System Architecture Guide and present to Architecture Review Board, and Technology Risk Office and get their sign off
Lead and/or participate in SDLC processes to get necessary sign offs from applicable gatekeepers
Propose a solution that is aligned with architecture guidelines provided by Enterprise Architects and other applicable guidelines
Align with technical stakeholders on impacts and plan of managing of Android app ADA compliance work while parallel feature development and enhancements are in progress.

Quality:
Participate in design/solutioning to ensure that proposed solution aligns with architecture guidelines
Perform code review of newly developed stories for identifying and rectification of architectural, reusability and quality issues
Ensure that planned/executed testing covers acceptance criterion for ADA Compliance
