Interior Designer Role Responsibilities:
REQUIREMENTS: o Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited CIDA institution. o NCIDQ and LEED AP credentials desired. o 5‐10 years of proven experience in interior design. o Knowledge of commercial fabric codes with experience in ADA commercial codes. o Knowledge of furniture periods and architectural styles; Excellent color sense is a must. o Experience in high‐end resort and boutique hotel properties is a plus. o Proficient in ACAD, Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. Sketchup, 3D Max, Homestyler or other 3D programs are a plus. o Posses strong verbal, written and visual communication skills with all levels of employees, consultants, and design management. o Aid in presentation packages, follow‐up correspondence for specification orders, communications with industry vendors, and providing detailed information necessary for procurement. o Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple tasks and adjust work accordingly per project demands under the guidance of the Director of Interior Design. o Demonstrate creative abilities and problem‐solving skills. o Demonstrate ability to work on a team seating and achieve results through collaboration and sharing. o Proven ability to self‐manage and demonstrate a high‐level of maturity. o Must be quality minded, self‐motivated.
EXPECTATIONS: o Consistently bring new, fresh ideas to the team that are project appropriate. o Utilize knowledge of Hotel and Design Industry trends and approaches. o Aid in presentation packages. o Maintain accurate file information, specification sheets, and drawings. o Work well under pressure, be agile and easily adaptable to new direction based on project deviance. o Meet with and communication between vendors. o Assist in the preparation of plans and elevations utilizing AutoCAD or Revit. o Sourcing new furniture/fabrics/accessories. o Update and organize project files. o Maintain accurate file information, including dimensions and designs from Senior Designer or Director of Interior
Design. o Assist in material selection, FF&E, pricing, and availability. o Maintains quality and efficiency for deliverables by achieving billable efficiency.

Pay: $31,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
