What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Works Director position at Lincoln County?

This position will be responsible for performing or directing a wide variety of advanced technical and engineering tasks in the investigation, location, design and construction of road, bridge and building projects. Provide leadership for maintenance of County Vehicles and Facilities. Oversee the recreational opportunities of county parks. Providing County wide leadership as a member of the County Management Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- 6 Plus years of experience progressively responsible supervisory and management experience in public works.
- Driver’s License.
- Substitution Note: Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and education as determined by the supervising Commissioner.
Desirable Qualifications: Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Oregon, or the ability to obtain registration within one year, preferred. Prior experience as a Director or Assistant Director is preferred.
