**The Role at a Glance:**
We're excited to add an Actuarial Analyst, Underwriting Reporting & Analytics to our team. This position will work closely with our Underwriting and Pricing teams to help the organization in execution and monitoring of our New and Renewal Pricing Strategy. The role will monitor pricing assumptions and review profitability results and present finings to field and Home office leadership teams.
**The ADP Program**
The Actuarial Development Program (ADP) at Lincoln Financial Group is an industry-leading program that demonstrates Lincoln Financial' s commitment to creating highly qualified business leaders. As an ADP participant, you'll be able to explore your unique interests while developing the essential actuarial, technical, management, communication, and leadership skills you need to succeed. Program participants receive up to 175 hours of company time to study per exam sitting. Lincoln Financial Group purchases required exam materials and pays exam fees in advance for each program participant.
**What you'll be doing:**
**Pricing Strategy Execution Analysis** - Perform analysis of UW execution of Pricing Strategy and Financial Plan, determine appropriate assumptions and features. Collaborate with Pricing Strategy, Financial Planning and UW leadership to recommend adjustments to strategy, execution or tools to meet or exceed profitability/persistency and New Sales objectives. Present findings to Senior leadership in UW and Finance as well as key partners and customers (primarily UW, but also Distribution).
**Risk Analysis** - Evaluate potential changes in UW execution, Pricing Strategy and Market conditions to product risk and profitability.
**Actuarial/ Technical Support** - Maintain existing actuarial models and tools, and proactively identify and implement improvements. Develop reporting and analytics tools (Dataiku and Tableau) and support relationships particularly in field Underwriting org according to business needs.
**Special Projects** - Participate in ad hoc projects related to strategy development, implementation, Inforce and New Business management, and tool design and updates.
**Pricing Documentation** - Prepare reports summarizing pricing analysis and results, including documentation of assumptions and methodology.
