What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician Instructor position at Lincoln Tech?

A leader in Technical Skills Training is seeking high-end Diesel Mechanics/Technicians to prepare our students for a future in this field. If you've got the passion and the experience, we can train you to become instructors.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Diesel Technology classes using our training program
- Provide hands-on training for student skill development
- Hold students accountable and encourage student growth and professionalism
- Motivate and engage the class in a positive setting
- Support and communicate progress with students
- 4 years of technician experience
- 4 years experience with 1 of these engines PACCAR, Mack, and Cummins
- OEM or equivalent industry-related training
- Current ASE Medium/Heavy Truck certifications T4, T6, and T8; plus current ASE certifications
- Basic computer skills
Preferred
- ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician Status
- 4 years Penske or similar company (variety experience with different trucks and engines) preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulics, welding, electrical diagnostics
