We are currently looking for a Purchasing Agent to join the team in Romeo, Michigan.
About the Company: We specialize in manufacturing custom mold bases ranging from small to large scales. Recognizing evolving customer demands in recent years, we have expanded and diversified our tooling and machining capabilities to better serve our clients. Our expertise spans several industries, including plastic injection molding, die casting, special machine tools, comprehensive compression tooling builds, fabrication, and welding. Our customer base encompasses a wide range of sectors such as automotive, aerospace, military, consumer products, electronics, medical, and others.

Duties:
- Stay up to date on the latest machinery, tooling and material trends/deals
- Prepare and submit purchase orders for tooling, materials and machinery
- Verify receipts and payments
- Manage delivery for all purchased goods
- Resolve any shipping, payment, or inventory issues
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships
- Purchasing control; keep appropriate paperwork and documents needed for future purchasing reference
- Purchasing experience – thorough knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures
- Inventory control experience
- Strong knowledge or experience with metal tooling/materials is a plus
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication, time management and organization skills
- Day Shift: 7:00 am- 5:00 pm
