Job Description
This role can be located in New York-NY or San Francisco-CA depending on where the hired candidate for the role currently resides.
Our Sales Strategy & Operations organization is responsible for building and maintaining the ultimate go-to-market engine and operational foundation that enables our organization to run effectively and efficiently. We are looking for an Associate to join our Customer Success Strategy & Ops team to build and scale capabilities relating to global operational analytics, data foundations, and reporting across the LinkedIn Pan-Talent CS business.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large cross-functional programs requiring close collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A successful candidate will have a strong internal drive, a passion for learning, and energy to foster close partnerships with business teams to explore data and new technologies to solve complex problems at scale. The role will require you to:
- Lead as a thought partner with CS Ops Leadership on focus areas related to data foundations and reporting
- Execute on business intelligence strategy for the pan-talent organization and drive development of reporting infrastructure to operationalize
- Own CS data foundations to enable scalable, streamlined reporting
The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills and be adept at deriving and distilling actionable insights from large amounts of data. You will analyze data using SQL, own the central reporting infrastructure, maintain the core data foundations for CS Ops reporting, and identify new scalable opportunities for standardization across sales reporting and analytics to create best-in-class business intelligence & reporting across SaaS.
Responsibilities:
- Develop deep understanding of the key metrics for the pan-talent business (Talent, Learning, and Glint)
- Partner closely across our CS Ops team to shape future reporting strategy and execute on the vision for pan-Talent business intelligence & reporting
- Collect business intelligence requirements from our global sales leadership/sales operations team and help define the BI priorities and roadmap
- Gather technical requirements for dataset implementation to ensure CS Ops business requirements are represented and met
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data foundations to support the transition to pan-talent
- Support development, management, and ongoing governance of CS metrics
- Develop dashboards intake process and automate reporting tools leveraging large amounts of data that deliver new insights and support more timely and effective business decisions
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of work experience in Analytics, Consulting, Finance, or Product Management
- 2 years in visualization technologies, especially Tableau
- 2 years SQL skills and experience querying large, complex data sets from Data Warehouses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with JIRA
- Experience in a cross-functional data analytics role
- Understanding and passion for CRM and sales data
- Experience developing data infrastructure or reporting using tools such as Alation, Presto, GitHub
- Demonstrated record of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic and drive for success
- Advanced skill levels for Excel including macros, complex charts and pivot tables
- A strong understanding of SaaS sales organizations and sales processes or a demonstrated genuine interest in learning the space
- Familiarity with programming languages (or eagerness to learn)
