Responsibilities
- Follow established performance standards and perform duties according to nursing service policies and procedures.
- Prepares and immediately administers medication
- Checks medications against med sheet, med card, and blister pack.
- Aware of and in compliance with safety rules at all times.
- Responsible for drug counts at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Perform all related duties as directed by his/her supervisor.
- Follow Residents' Rights policies at all times.
- Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.
- Knowledgeable of proper lift usage and understanding of no-lift policy of facility.
- Certified Medication Aide (Required)
- High School or equivalent (Preferred)
Medication Administration: 1 year (Preferred)
- CNA (Required)
